With multiple members of Congress attending McMUN, which coincided with the time of the weekly Congress meeting, this meeting ended almost as soon as it started, to the surprise and hilarity of all those who did attend.

Previously, we have mentioned the 10% discount Marianopolis students can get at Mr. Puffs. What’s better than having one discount? Yes! Mari students can also get a FREE hot chocolate or lemonade with the purchase of any pastry at Beaver Tails! The discounts only work if you go to the shop in-person (not all shops, the Cote-Des-Neiges Mr. Puffs and the Old Port Beaver Tails ONLY) and show your student ID, so hopefully this gives some people the motivation to go out. Si Wen ”Shiya” Shen is MWR’s Editor emeritus of MariNews and one of the most important student journalists of our generation. She covered critical and controversial events that unfolded in the Student Union under her mandate. She was also the President of the Literature club which involved everything anime and pioneered the successful Archive-of-a-Shut-in column. She is currently a 1L Law student at Université de Montréal Faculté de Droit.
